System Requirements

To use GDoc you need RapidWaver 3.6 or newer on Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard) and a web space that supports PHP 4.3 or newer!

GDoc pages do not work on a MobileMe account.

Installation

To install GDoc, unpack the downloaded ZIP archive and double click the contained GDoc.rwplugin – this will launch RapidWeaver and install the plugin.

Then restart RapidWeaver to use the new plugin.

Important:

Due to a bug in the current implementation of the Google Documents API you need to activate "auto re-publishing" for your Google Documents — please see the Help provided with the GDoc page in RapidWeaver for details.

One more thing: Google recently added the ability to also publish PDF documents. GDoc does not support these - but there’s also currently a bug in Googles server API that makes listing all stored documents fail if one of the documents is a PDF! So if you want to use your Google Docs account with the GDoc RapidWeaver Plugin, do not use/create any PDF documents in this account.
